Description
One troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, struck by the US Mint in the outline of the Liberty Bell for the 2026 semiquincentennial, with a $250 face value, a proof finish, and a size of about 0.888 by 1.024 inches and 0.167 inch thick. The bell side shows the crack, LIBERTY across the shoulder, the dual date 1776 ~ 2026, IN GOD WE TRUST and the P mint mark; fireworks rise behind Independence Hall on the other. The Mint struck it in its Philadelphia Research and Development Laboratory, loading each blank by hand.
