Description
The 1990 (MCMXC) 1 oz American Gold Eagle, NGC Certified, holds a special place in the lineage of the American Gold Eagle series minted by the United States Mint. Composed of .9167 fine gold (22 karat), this coin features the iconic obverse design of Lady Liberty by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and the familial eagle imagery by Miley Busiek on the reverse, symbolizing American strength and unity. The NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) certification attests to the coin's authenticity and condition, making it a sought-after piece for collectors and investors alike. As a certified issue from the early years of the American Gold Eagle series, the 1990 edition is particularly valued for its blend of numismatic appeal, investment potential, and historical significance, offering a tangible connection to America's gold coinage tradition.
