Description
A hundred troy ounces of .999 fine silver, 3.11 kilograms, pressed by Sunshine Minting in Idaho. The bar is about 130 by 80 millimeters and 30 thick. The front carries Sunshine's eagle with sun rays behind it and SUNSHINE MINTING around it, with the weight and fineness; the back carries a diagonal sunrise pattern with the MintMark SI security mark at its centre. MintMark SI is micro-engraved and reads as a blank circle to the eye; through Sunshine's decoder lens it reads VALID.
Sunshine Minting was established in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, in 1979. A pressed hundred has flat faces and square corners, a slab rather than a loaf.
