Description
A hundred troy ounces of .999 fine silver, 3.11 kilograms, cast by PAMP Suisse. The bar is about 198 by 68 millimeters and 22.5 thick. The front is smooth with fine lines from the mold and carries the PAMP rosette, SUISSE, 100 TROY OUNCES, FINE SILVER 999.0, the Essayeur Fondeur mark, a four-digit production code, and the serial number along the bottom edge; the back carries no stamping at all. PAMP stamps the month and year of casting as well.
PAMP issues each bar with an assay card that repeats the serial, in a protective plastic capsule. It is a heavy, plain object, and that is the point of a cast hundred.
