A hundred grams of .9999 fine gold, 3.215 troy ounces, from Geiger Edelmetalle in Germany, in the square format Geiger is known for: 49.4 by 49.4 millimeters. The front shows Schloss Güldengossa, the baroque castle near Leipzig that is Geiger's headquarters, with GEIGER EDELMETALLE above and 100g FEINGOLD 999.9 below, on a pearl-finish surface. The back is structured in high relief, the edge is reeded like a coin, and the bar carries a printed serial number and a UV coating with the maker's logo that only shows under black light.
It comes sealed with its certificate of authenticity, in packaging that cannot be opened without destroying it.
