Description
Ten grams of .9999 fine gold, 0.322 troy ounces, struck by Valcambi in Switzerland with a minted finish. Minted means pressed from a rolled strip rather than poured, so the faces are flat and even and the edges are crisp. The bar is 25.3 by 15.2 millimeters and 1.6 thick. The front carries Valcambi's hallmark: the logo, the weight, the metal, the fineness 999.9, the Essayeur Fondeur mark, and a serial number of two letters and six digits. The back reads Valcambi Suisse.
It is sealed in Valcambi's blister with a certificate that carries the same serial number. The blister is built to resist tampering, so the bar can be checked without being handled.
