An Engelhard bar holding one troy ounce of .9995 fine platinum, sealed in its assay card, with the serial number on the card matching the one on the bar. The front carries a bold eagle logo, and diagonally repeating Engelhard logos cross the back. Older cards can show wear. Charles W. Engelhard Sr. founded the company in Newark, New Jersey, in 1902, and BASF acquired it in 2006. Each bar is tested by us before it ships.
