Description
One troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, 31.1 grams, in APMEX's own bar. The front carries the weight and purity with APMEX's American eagle underneath, thirteen small stars over its head for the original colonies. The back is plain apart from the APMEX name and web address.
This is the carded version. The bar is sealed into a navy blue tamper-evident card, about the size of a playing card, that prints the weight and purity next to the metal. The card is how the bar is meant to live: it keeps a .9999 surface from picking up marks and it is how the bar gets checked without being touched. We test it anyway before it ships.
