The set pairs a 24-karat gold reissue of the legendary 1804 Silver Dollar, struck at the West Point Mint, with a silver companion medal struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The high-relief gold coin recreates the historic Draped Bust design, featuring Liberty surrounded by 13 stars on the obverse and a heraldic eagle with shield, arrows, olive branch, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” scroll on the reverse, while a special Liberty Bell “250” privy mark distinguishes this commemorative issue.
