Description
This 2024 Flowing Hair silver medal with the "230" privy mark holds one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, 40.60 millimeters across, with a plain edge, an uncirculated finish and no face value, struck at Philadelphia without a mint mark. As the title says, this is the version signed by Ventris C. Gibson, then Director of the US Mint, who signed the certificates of authenticity issued with some privy-marked medals. Robert Scot's 1794 Flowing Hair dollar is the model: Liberty facing right among 15 stars, and an eagle in a laurel wreath. Tested by us before it ships.
