Description
The 2023 Canadian Silver Lynx from the Royal Canadian Mint holds three quarters of a troy ounce of 99.99% pure silver, 23.33 grams, with a C$2 face value, on a 38 millimeter blank with a serrated edge. Pierre Leduc's lynx portrait is struck in a reverse proof finish, the brilliant relief set against a frosted, matte field. It is the seventh coin in the Mint's Animal Portrait bullion series, and a micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark shows the numeral 23 under magnification. Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse.
