Description
From Lunar Series II, The Perth Mint's 2009 Year of the Ox: two troy ounces of .9999 fine gold, A$200 face value. The design shows an ox lying on grass with bamboo above it, with the Chinese character for ox and the Mint's P mintmark. The first series ran from 1996 to 2007, and the 2 oz size had joined it in 2000. The Perth Mint is owned by the state of Western Australia.
