From Lunar Series II, The Perth Mint's 2008 Year of the Mouse: half a troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, A$50 face value. The mouse for 2008 is on the reverse. It follows Series I, which ran from 1996 to 2007. The Perth Mint opened in 1899 and is owned by the state of Western Australia.
