Description
A tenth of a troy ounce of .9999 fine gold from The Perth Mint's Lunar Series I, dated 2006, the Year of the Dog, with a face value of A$15. The coin is 3.11 grams, 16.1 millimeters across and 1.5 thick. The design shows a beagle standing alert in grass. Around the design run the Chinese character for the dog, the year, and the weight and purity, framed by a beaded border. Turn it over and you find Queen Elizabeth II in Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait, with the face value.
