Description
One troy ounce of .9999 fine gold from The Perth Mint's Lunar Series I, dated 2001, the Year of the Snake, with a face value of A$100. The coin is 31.11 grams, 32.1 millimeters across and 2.8 thick, with a reeded edge. The snake for 2001 is on the reverse. Around the design run the Chinese character for the snake, the year, and the weight and purity, framed by a beaded border. Turn it over and you find Queen Elizabeth II in Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait, with the face value.
