Description
From Lunar Series I, The Perth Mint's 2000 Year of the Dragon: two troy ounces of .9999 fine gold, A$200 face value. The coin is 62.22 grams, 40.6 millimeters across and 3.9 thick. Tony Dean's design shows a traditional Chinese dragon, long and scaled, on four legs, with a pearl. Series I reverses carry the Chinese character for the animal, the year, and the weight and purity inside a beaded border. On the other side is Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the face value.
