Description
Twenty troy ounces of .999 fine silver, 622 grams, in a poured Engelhard bar with the bull logo, the hallmark Engelhard used on its Canadian-made bars: a bull's head inside an elongated octagon. Poured means cast, so the surface keeps the texture of the mold; the Canadian 20 ounce bars run about four inches wide, and some varieties carry a waffle-like pattern on the back. The front carries the hallmark with the weight, fineness, and serial number.
Twenty ounces is an odd size, double the ten. Expect handling marks on a bar from the 1980s.
