Description
A quarter troy ounce of .9999 fine gold from The Perth Mint's Lunar Series I, dated 1999, the Year of the Rabbit, with a face value of A$25. The coin is 7.78 grams, 20.1 millimeters across and 2 thick. Louise Pinder's design shows a rabbit resting among grass. Around the design run the Chinese character for the rabbit, the year, and the weight and purity, framed by a beaded border. Turn it over and you find Queen Elizabeth II in Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait, with the face value.
