Description
From Lunar Series I, The Perth Mint's 1999 Year of the Rabbit: a twentieth of a troy ounce of .9999 fine gold, A$5 face value. The coin is 1.55 grams, 14.1 millimeters across and 1.4 thick. Louise Pinder's design shows a rabbit resting among grass. Series I reverses carry the Chinese character for the animal, the year, and the weight and purity inside a beaded border. On the other side is Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the face value.
