A quarter troy ounce of .9999 fine gold from The Perth Mint's Lunar Series I, dated 1998, the Year of the Tiger, with a face value of A$25. The coin is 7.78 grams, 20.1 millimeters across and 2 thick. Miranda Cornall's design shows a tiger leaping through grass. Around the design run the Chinese character for the tiger, the year, and the weight and purity, framed by a beaded border. Turn it over and you find Queen Elizabeth II in Raphael Maklouf's portrait, with the face value.
