Description
One troy ounce of .999 fine silver in the Liberty Trade bar: the Statue of Liberty on the front, struck for Manfra, Tordella & Brookes, the dealer known as MTB, in 1986, the statue's centennial year, and sold as an Engelhard bar. The back carries the weight and fineness. The same Liberty Trade bar was also sold in a boxed set with 5 and 10 ounce versions. Engelhard, founded in Newark in 1902, stopped making silver bars in the 1980s, so what exists is what was struck then.
This is the bar without a certificate; the metal is the same. Expect light handling marks.
