One troy ounce of .999 fine silver in a vintage Deak-Perera bar. Nicholas Deak opened Deak & Company in New York in 1939, later acquired Perera, and built the business into gold coin and bullion dealing; the firm filed for bankruptcy in 1984. Its 1 oz bars carry the Deak-Perera name with the weight and fineness, and none have been struck since.
Expect toning and handling marks on a bar from that era. On a vintage bar with no card the test matters more than the name, and every bar here gets one.
