One troy ounce of .9999 fine gold from Geiger Edelmetalle in Germany, in Geiger's square format: 33.5 by 33.5 millimeters, closer to a tile than a bar. The front carries Schloss Güldengossa, the baroque castle near Leipzig that is Geiger's headquarters, on a pearl-finish surface with the weight and fineness; Geiger's Original bars add a reeded edge like a coin, a structured back, a printed serial number, and a UV coating with the maker's logo.
The bar comes sealed in Geiger's security capsule with its certificate, 80 by 80 millimeters, which cannot be opened without breaking it.
